When to Choose Armonia

Armonia is chosen when a non-surgical treatment for intimate rejuvenation and the restoration of lost volume and hydration in the labia majora – typical of genital area ageing – is required. The unique “intercalation” technology protects the hyaluronic acid from enzymatic degradation and ensures a stable corrective effect. Its smaller particles allow for better distribution within the tissues, preventing the “cord” effect. This makes Armonia the ideal choice for improving aesthetics and functionality of the area, guaranteeing a natural appearance and excellent biocompatibility.

Global aesthetic improvement scale – GAIS

The improvement in the overall aesthetic appearance was assessed using the GAIS score, a scale ranging from 1 (optimal cosmetic result) to 5 (worsening of the original aesthetic condition).

After 6 months of treatment with Regenyal Armonia, 80.0% of patients considered their aesthetic appearance “extremely improved” and 20% “very improved”.

Improved self-esteem

The impact that treatment with Regenyal Armonia has on improving self-esteem in treated patients was evaluated using a 5-point Likert scale: 1 – The patient does not accept her physical appearance at all; 2 – Somewhat; 3 – Moderately; 4 – Mostly; 5 – The patient completely accepts her physical appearance.

Improvement in self-esteem was defined as an increase in score comparing the initial pre-treatment assessment score to the post-treatment score reported at Visit 1 and Visit 2. A statistically significant difference was found when comparing the baseline self-esteem assessment with that at Visit 2 (Day 90) (p = 0.004) and that at Visit 3 (Day 180) (p = 0.004).

After 6 months of treatment, the mean score increased to 4.8±0.4, and all subjects evaluated reported an improvement in their self-esteem: 80% of the subjects completely accepted their physical appearance while 20% mostly accepted it.
